Started as a freedom fighter from Quit India Movement in 1942, he reached the apex of Indian parliament. He propounded 'Gujral Doctrine' which called for better India's relations with its neighbors. Served as Union Minister and Minister of State of various portfolios, he was surely a statesman and now he is no more, its surely a loss to Indian Parliament and Nation.
